Granny Style Plant Hanger

I have a couple of plants in hangers in my windows. I have tried to make my own plant hangers but haven’t been completely satisfied with them.

The other day I realized that I didn’t like them because I tried too hard to fit in as much structure as I could in the patterns. So I decided to keep it clean and simple and tada . . . . the Granny plant holder came out.

Materials:

Kartopu Cotton Mix 2166S
Size 3,5 mm Crochet Hook

To make it a little bit fancier I made a tassel and attached underneath. If you want you can put beads on the tassel as well.

GrapeVine Mandala by Anna Virkpanna

My GrapeVine mandala comes in two sizes, the ”small” version is appr 44 cm across and the bigger version is appr 64 cm. You will have to pin this beauty and wet-block it when you are finished to make the stitches fall in place and open up the part with the grapes.

I think this design looks just as lovely on a table as a centerpiece as it would if you attach it to a hoop and make it a wall hanging.

Materials:

Kartopu Organica
Size 3 mm crochet hook

Elliot The Elephant by Anna Virkpanna

Elliot the elephant is perfect to make as a gift for a new little baby or any child that want’s a cute cuddly elephant. I can’t believe how so soft and cuddly this yarn is.

It can be a bit tricky to crochet in a furry yarn but it’s so worth it in the end. Of course you can crochet Elliot the Elephant in another, not furry, yarn and he will still look just as cute.
