Hello friends! It’s Nadia here from @_wovenco, and I’ve got a super easy, beginner friendly project anyone can make! The Cozy Crochet Cowl, uses Kartopu Elite Wool Grande from Hobium Yarns, and works up so fast, it’s perfect for gifts. Best of all, it looks amazing on both littles, and adults! So make yourself comfortable with a warm cuppa, and lets get started shall we?

Finished measurements:

Approx. 9” x 11”

Size:

(Toddler to Adult)

Materials Needed:

1 skein Kartopu Elite Wool Grande
12mm hook
Scissors
Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Abbreviations:

Ch – Chain
St – Stitch
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
BLO – Back Loop Only
Sl st – Slip Stitch

Pattern:

Row 1: Ch 19

Hdc in 2nd ch, and each ch across, turn  (18hdc)

Row 2: Ch 1, Hdc in BLO across, turn

Arrow is pointing to back loop:

Here, arrow is pointing to the last st to be worked in the row:

Rows 3-27: Repeat row 2 (you can add or decrease rows, to achieve desired neck width)

Your cowl should be looking like a rectangle at this point, measuring approximately 19.5” x 8.5”:

Now it’s time to seam:

Fold your rectangle in half to line up the short sides, ch1, sl st through corresponding stitches to join:

Fasten off. Weave in ends, and you’re done! 👏🏻

Don’t forget to tag: @hobiumyarns (#hobiumyarns) and @_wovenco (#wovencobynadia). I would love to see your Cozy Cowls!

Happy making!
