Hi everybody! Brenna from BrennaAnnHandmade here, with another FREE DIY tutorial in collaboration with HobiumYarns! I’m so excited to bring you all this cute little “Summer Sunset Crochet Baby Blanket” pattern! If you haven’t guessed already, the fun colors chosen to create this blanket were inspired by a summer sunset! 🙂 Even better, the silky soft Kartopu Organica yarn used (which I’ve heard in comparable in quality to the SMC Cantina yarns, but SO much more affordable!) is 100% cotton – another reason it’s perfect for warmer weather! 😉

Ready to get started? Great, let’s go! 😉

*Finished blanket measures approximately 30″ x 38″

Rows 16-30: Repeat Rows 2-3, alternating. When you reach the very last dc of row 30, DO NOT complete the last “pull through” – instead, use the next color (LIGHT PINK) to pull through and complete that final stitch. Cut the previous yarn color and tie it to the tail of the new yarn color you just attached.

Rows 31-45: Repeat Rows 2-3, alternating. When you reach the very last dc of row 45, DO NOT complete the last “pull through” – instead, use the next color (LIGHT ORANGE) to pull through and complete that final stitch. Cut the previous yarn color and tie it to the tail of the new yarn color you just attached.
